The Agenzia del Demanio is the Public Economic Entity that manages the State’s real estate assets by administering approx. 44 thousand assets for a value of 62,8 billion euro. Its’ headquarters is in Rome with 17 territorial Branches with approx. 1,111 human resources. It is committed to the redevelopment of public real estate and urban regeneration, also through public-private partnerships, with a special view to energy efficiency, reduction of seismic risk as well as public expense reduction.

 Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Broadoak Asset Management is a highly experienced small team of real estate consultants who have held senior leadership roles in public/private sector investment and development partnerships in the north east of England region over the past 30 years.

We provide an Estates Director role for the Newcastle Helix Partnership – between Newcastle City Council, Newcastle University and Legal and General Capital (pension fund) – a 24 acre city centre development site which is approximately 50% completed and includes 9 finished buildings totalling over 75,000 sqm. The estate is home to research space, education, life science labs, offices, residential and retail and also has it’s own district energy centre, a combined heat and power generator for the estate.

The CSTB – Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment is a French public, industrial, and commercial company aiming to guide sustainable construction and renovation projects.

Its field of expertise covers construction products, buildings, districts, and cities. It brings together multidisciplinary skills and focuses on five key activities: research and expertise, assessment, certification, testing and the dissemination of knowledge. The CSTB develops methods and tools to design, improve or manage buildings, districts, and cities and to assess their performances, based for example on Dynamic Energy Simulation, Life Cycle Assessment, Ecological expertise, Data Science and Urban design.

Hospital del Mar is located at Barcelona, Spain. It is the main component of the MAR Barcelona Health Park Consortium, a group of facilities encompassing all levels of healthcare services: acute diseases, socio-health care, mental health and primary care; serving an urban area with over 300,000 inhabitants.

RINA provides a wide range of services across the Energy & Mobility, Marine, Certification, Infrastructure & Real Estate and Industry sectors.  RINA will be mainly involved in the project through its sub-holding RINA Consulting, which provides a wide range of engineering consultancy services covering the whole project life cycle from feasibility and specialized technical studies to conceptual and detailed design, prototyping and testing, project management, site engineering as well as operation and maintenance management. St. Gallisch Appenzellische Kraftwerke AG (SAK) headquartered in St. Gallen is a utility company located in the eastern part of Switzerland. TU Eindhoven is a research university of international standing and strong engineering focus, where excellent research and excellent education go hand in hand. TU Eindhoven takes a balanced approach towards education, research and valorization of knowledge in the areas of engineering science and technology. TU Eindhoven is thereby known for its very close and strong connections with key industrial partners in the Eindhoven region, Brainport, which serves as a digital innovation hub. Within the Department of the Built Environment at TUE, contribution to the project comes from the research group on Information Systems in the Built Environment (ISBE). The following topics fall within their expertise: BIM, construction 4.0, building performance, applied research via living labs, digitization in the construction industry, smart buildings, building monitoring, occupant behavior, digital twins, user-centric research and information platforms. The ISBE research group is additionally closely connected to the EAISI Eindhoven AI Systems Institute, which combines all AI-related research across 7 Departments in the University with a research program that encompasses Mobility, High-Tech, and Health application domains. In particular, this includes an industry-supported Digital Twin Lab (DTLab) that is specialized in the use of AI techniques in the creation of smart digital twins for domains as diverse as the built environment (Edge AI and smart buildings), mechanical engineering (smart manufacturing and robotization), and biomedical engineering.
