At the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, HSLU, more than 8,300 students are working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree, while an additional 12,000 participate in continuing and executive education programs—including almost 5,000 in a CAS, DAS, and MAS programs. The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is the largest university-level institution in Central Switzerland.

The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts conducts practically oriented research and development in its schools of engineering and architecture; business; computer sciences; social work; design, film, and arts; and music; with practice partners such as regional and national companies, non-profit organizations, communities, cantons, federal offices, and EU institutions.
