WILSON Project Presentation at BDTIC 2025

We are excited to announce that as part of the #WILSON project, our partner Avinash Ramachandruni from #TUe presented their innovative work on ontology reuse and dataspaces at the Building Digital Twin International Congress 2025 (BDTIC) held in Kaunas, Lithuania.

The presentation, titled “Ontology Reuse using Vocabulary Hubs in an International Data Space (IDS): Project WILSON,” covered several key topics, including:

  • Project Overview: An introduction to the WILSON project, which focuses on distributed data modelling and federated digital twinning for lifecycle data-driven sustainable operation and management of buildings and districts.
  • Dataspaces and Vocabulary Hubs: The role of vocabulary hubs in facilitating semantic data exchange and interoperability within the AECO domain.
  • Vocabulary Stack for AECO Domain: The use of RDF and W3C standards to enable syntactic and semantic interoperability.
  • Role of Vocabulary Hub in Semantic Data Exchange: How the vocabulary hub supports ontology reuse, schema validation, and data validation.
  • Survey Analysis: Insights from a survey on ontology use in the WILSON project, highlighting challenges and areas for standardization.
