Circular Construction <br/> Cluster

The Circular Construction Cluster (CCC) is a European network initiated by the RECONMATIC project and led by Future Needs, bringing together research projects, academic institutions, and industry stakeholders to address one of the construction sector’s most pressing challenges: the enormous volume of construction and demolition waste generated across the EU.

As a collaborative ecosystem, the Cluster works to accelerate the shift toward a fully circular and climate neutral construction sector by fostering knowledge exchange, developing shared tools and methodologies, and encouraging practical alignment across initiatives active in recycling, digitalisation, and sustainable building practices.

It functions as a space where partners collectively explore how circularity can be embedded into real projects, from procurement and reporting to on site implementation, while strengthening cooperation that helps the sector reduce waste, conserve resources, and adopt more regenerative construction models.

WILSON’s involvement in the Circular Construction Cluster reflects its active contribution to a broader European network by joining joint events and thematic sessions, co promoting results and training materials, enriching shared resources such as glossaries and learning materials, and aligning its digitalisation and circular construction work with other EU initiatives operating under the Cluster’s umbrella.
