HEDGE-IoT aims to transform the energy sector by deploying IoT assets across all grid levels and integrating AI/ML intelligence at the edge and cloud. It introduces a pioneering Digital Framework that bridges the cloud/edge continuum with federated applications and advanced orchestration to boost grid resilience and flexibility. The project emphasizes interoperability, standardization, and ecosystem development to support renewable energy integration and seamless data exchange. Through ethical IoT practices and an Open Call mechanism, HEDGE-IoT fosters innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration with SMEs and innovators.
