WILSON at Sustainable Places 2025: Advancing Smart Readiness and Digital Twin Integration
WILSON partners participated in Sustainable Places 2025, one of Europe’s leading conferences on energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. During the thematic workshop “Smart Readiness Indicator: Market Uptake”, Christos Malavazos presented WILSON’s work on integrating BIM-based SRI and digital twin frameworks, demonstrating how digital twins can bridge the gap between building assessment and operation.
The session brought together several LIFE and HORIZON projects active in the field of the Smart Readiness Indicator, including DATAWiSE, EVELIXIA, iEPB, SmarterEPC, tunES, WeForming, and WILSON. Discussions focused on the progress, results, and future steps needed to enhance the implementation and market uptake of the SRI by the building industry.
Organised by stakeholders of Working Group #3 of the SRI Platform and the LIFE SRI projects, the event fostered collaboration among researchers, industry representatives, and policymakers, reflecting the shared vision of a smarter and more sustainable built environment.
